On June 9 and 10, Selvagens , the first fair of Portuguese natural and artisanal wines organized by Bago Wines, will be held at the Potassi K19 gallery in the Born district. This event will showcase the richness and quality of Portuguese natural wines, still unknown to many people, with the aim of highlighting artisanal production and minimal intervention while respecting the terroir .
The fair will bring together 10 leading producers from different wine regions in Portugal, all of them committed to producing authentic wines that respect the terroir . Visitors will be able to taste more than 50 references of these exceptional wines and talk directly with the producers themselves to learn first-hand about their working methods and the philosophy behind each bottle.
Bago Wines is a wine club and distributor dedicated to the promotion of natural and artisanal wines. The project is driven by Jorge Penha , a passionate Portuguese wine lover who, through A Casa Portuguesa and Tasca Saudade , has helped popularize Portuguese gastronomy and wines in Barcelona since 2006.
Beyond the wine tasting, the Selvagens fair will offer a complete experience with the presence of the gastronomic project Cook and the Gang , which will bring the traditional flavours of the Algarve to Barcelona . In addition, a carefully selected musical selection on vinyl will liven up the atmosphere throughout the event, creating a relaxed atmosphere conducive to enjoyment.
