Curati Vinhos is a young family project founded by Miguel Nunes and Sara Cruz, located in Alenquer, in the Lisbon region. The first harvest took place in 2021, and their goal is to produce wines that faithfully represent a terroir with a strong Atlantic influence, using native varieties and minimal intervention.

With structure, yet fresh and mineral, Fizei is a single-variety Arinto, the dominant white variety in the Lisbon region. This wine stands out for its unique winemaking process: two-thirds are aged in open barrels with skin maceration, and the remaining third in stainless steel. This elevates the Arinto to a new level of complexity, integrating citrus and mineral notes, resulting in a white wine with a distinctly gastronomic profile. The essence of the Atlantic terroir, interpreted by a newly established project that we are excited to share.
