After harvesting grapes all over the world, from New Zealand to California, Mauro Azóia returns to Portugal and creates his personal project, Artisans Terroir, where he puts into practice the knowledge gained on his travels. The grapes come from a vineyard located just a few metres from Praia da Adraga, in Almoçageme, and the Atlantic breeze gives them the acidity and salinity so characteristic of the Colares region.
Lola Loves Petnat has a profile strongly influenced by the Atlantic. Made with red and white grapes, it finishes its fermentation in the bottle as is typical in the ancestral method. The wine remains in the cellar for six months on its lees and is then disgorged, resulting in a fine and elegant bubble that combines perfectly with the freshness and salinity so characteristic of Colares. A fresh and versatile wine to enjoy on hot days.
